The good kind of mail.
The conversations you leave feeling full.
Every month we mail you a personal essay and a conversation card. Read the letter with your morning coffee. Bring the card to your next dinner.
Have the kind of conversation you're still thinking about on the drive home.

How it works
Simple, on purpose.
Do it.
Join for $7 a month, and then cancel any time.
It arrives at your door.
A letter and a conversation card comes every month, analog style.
Bring it to the table.
Read the essay, pull out the card, and watch dinner actually go somewhere.
Why I started this
You know that feeling after a really good conversation?
When you drove home still thinking about what somebody said after staying at the table way too long.
Those conversations are getting rare. We text instead of talk. We catch up in the comments. Friendships that used to go deep now run on quick updates and “we should get dinner soon,” and a year goes by.
I started The Conversation Club so you can have more of the other kind. A reason to get off the screen, sit at the table, and go somewhere real.
What shows up
An essay. A question.
And a reason to plan something.
Everything arrives in an envelope designed to feel like it matters.

What members are saying.
"I really love it! It feels super special and I really do like the physical component of it! I intentionally opened it while at a coffee shop and it felt really nice to read something like this and not be staring at a screen. I feel like I was able to be more reflective and not get distracted."
"Had it with my morning coffee and it really spoke to me."
"I love the conversation prompts. Use them in a group or one-on-one. Either way, you get a better conversation. Adult friendships are easy to coast through with social media, mom life, or work. These questions get you off your phone and into the moment, so you can actually connect. And the cards come in the mail, which makes it feel like you're part of a group."
"I loved getting the letter in the mail!! I had really been looking forward to it."
"Conversation Club opens up so much vulnerability in people which then allows friendships to take that next level. It's a gentle nudge to go so much deeper into topics we're all thinking about in our own personal little worlds but never consider expanding on with those who we talk to almost every day. It's a way to reconnect with people from a place that feels real again."
"I brought the questions and excerpt to dinner with three of my longtime girlfriends (11 years of friendship). The questions made our conversation more robust and emotional. We were able to pause, appreciate how deep our friendships run, and reflect on how lucky we are to have each other. They all thought the idea was so cute. I also love that I can bring the same card to a completely different group of friends later and hear entirely different responses."

Is this you?
For women who love beautiful things and even better conversations.
If you still get excited about something arriving in the mail. If you're the one who brings the question nobody else would have thought to ask. If you've ever driven home from a dinner feeling like your cup was completely full.
This is a small, beautiful, offline thing for people who already know they want more of the real stuff.

Things people ask
Questions
Is this a newsletter?
No. A newsletter lives in your inbox and competes with 40 other things. This shows up at your door, on paper, and it's designed to be held.
Who writes it?
Me. I'm Tori — writer, optimizer, and someone who thinks way too much about conversation. Every letter is mine. You can learn more at toriwinders.com.
What if I don't have anyone to do the question with?
Use it anyway. Text it to a friend. Answer it in your notes at 11pm. But honestly — it's a pretty good excuse to finally plan that dinner.
Where do you ship?
Within the U.S. for now. Letters ship the first week of every month. Subscribe by the last day of the month to get the next month's letter.
How much does it cost?
$7/month. Cancel anytime.
Can I gift it?
Yes. You can gift 3 months, 6 months, or a full year. See gift options.
